Loves: travelling, scuba diving, eating/cooking delicious food & visiting her family in Tassie.

Katarina grew up on the pristine Apple Isle and moved to Adelaide in 2008. Her journey to understand the complexities of the human body started with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at UNISA. Katarina has gained extensive clinical experience as a Physiotherapist in the acute hospital and aged care setting.

Katarina discovered Pilates following a lower back injury in 2013. She experienced the first-hand benefits of Pilates as a rehabilitation tool, which sparked her interest to learn this method and open The Pilates Room Adelaide in 2015.

Katarina loves the versatility of Pilates and the ability to modify and adapt it to suit any individual, activity level, injury and stage of life. She has an interest in injury rehabilitation, in particular helping those with spinal pathologies move better and feel better. She also enjoys keeping clients active during their pregnancy and welcoming new bubs into the studio!

Katarina has completed her Diploma of Polestar Pilates Studio & Rehabilitation Method and APA Women’s Health Level 1 course.
